Vaginal steaming can relieve stress, promote relaxation, balance hormones and increase energy. It's great for pelvic pain, lubrication, toning muscles and reducing scar tissue.
An ancient ritual practiced by many cultures, it's a fantastic way to unwind, reconnect, honour yourself and heal your body and womb. A lovely way to either end your bleed or do in preparation for it, depending on what you're experiencing.

Each pack contains 10 steams (55g). Use approximately 1/4 cup of loose plant material per steam session, or 1/2 cup for a sitz bath. The dosage can be increased for greater potency if desired.
Preparing Your Yoni Steam
- Add 1/4 cup loose plant material to a small pot or saucepan and half-fill the pot with water (appx. 8 cups). Recite your prayers and intentions for the steam as you add the herbs.
- Cover and bring to a soft boil. Simmer for 10 minutes and then remove from the heat, allowing it to infuse with the lid on for a further 5 minutes.
- Wrap the pot in a towel or pour the mixture into a heat-safe bowl.
- Test the temperature by placing your hand over the steam every 20 seconds until it feels like a comfortable temperature to steam with.
- Remove your underwear and squat over the pot, or drape your upper body over a bed or sofa with your knees on the floor on either side of the pot. Alternatively use a yoni steam chair or slatted chair.
- Drape a sheet or thin blanket around your waist down to the floor, ensuring no steam escapes.
- Steam for 20-30 minutes. You may wish to meditate, journal, listen to meditative music or read.
- Once you've completed your session and the herbs have cooled, you may wish to compost them or return them to the Earth.
