This blend contains a potent mix of vitamins and minerals, particularly when steeped in boiled water and allowed to cool overnight. This process benefits nutritive and mucilaginous herbs (like Hibiscus) because it yields a higher range of bioavailable nutrients through the hot and cold extractions, thus yielding a wonderful nutritive beverage to sip on throughout the day. I also love brewing this particular blend as a sun tea, beginning with cold water and setting the jar out in the sun or in a sunny window for a few hours.
The herbs chosen for this blend are particularly wonderful for maintaining balance in the uterus, liver and kidneys. This is a fantastic blend for harmonising your hormones and lubricating your bodily systems. Hibiscus is wonderful during inner and outer summer because of its cooling nature, and the sour taste is beneficial for ovulation. It's equally great during menstruation/inner winter, it's bright red colour replenishing minerals in the body (though I do recommend to also consume warming herbs at this time).
The ultimate nutrient supplement, this tea is nourishing, nutritive, and restorative. Delicious hot or cool.
